1) Take note the rhythm has changed to 3/4 . Key Signature C# and F# .
2) Rhythm is speed up so do not get lost
3) From Bar 79-99 , Its is the whole Bass solo ( Baritone are expect to lead , with loud and good tone ! )

Few reminders to take note .
-File Packing
i know majority of you guys have pack-ed your file already but during the file check , found out
some of you guys did'nt write bar numbers on certain scores . let me emphasize this , every scores in your files are expected to have bar numbers on it . Other than tat , any scores other than the below repertoire are expected to be kept at home ( place it in somewhere safe , do not lose it ! ) (:
lastly , reminder tat all scores are to be arrange in an alphabetical order .
Here are the following repertoire (: *claps*

-Instruments
By right everyone would had signed out their instrument . So please remember to take note that you must also maintain your instrument . Mostly importantly , DO NOT leave your instruments laying around ur room collecting dust , is must a definite no ! So i do expect you guys to practice especially during weekends when you are free (: you guys can also do Long tones , Tongue-ing ( Crotchet , Quaver , Triplets or Semi-quaver ) if not i believe some of you guys have brought home the photocopied ' I recommend ' . Practice on the warm up , don't lose your embouchure . After tat dhen you may proceed to on practicing the scores . Soooo , i have homework for you guys and targets to work during these period when band stands down .

(since its gonna be a long time when band stands down , so more homeworks were also expected ^^)

: Bar 30-32 ( as this phrase mani of u guys are messing it up . i want you guys to master it . take note when to slur and when to tongue/accent/tenuto .
: Bar 34-42 ( practice on the plusing , and take note of the staccato there . get the rhythm correct too )
: Bar 46-60 ( Work on ur phrasing and plan ur breath mark , when to breathe , dont cut the phrase . also work on the pulsing on bar 48,52,56 and 60 , some of you guys are playing that too robotic , trying to feel the pulse . )
: Bar 44 , 61(pickup) , 63 , 87 , 112(pickup) , 114 ( Work hard on your fp cresendo , i want it to really a f to p dhen cresendo , some of you are playing f and mf , so these is another thing to work on , your dynamic , apply what i taught you during the sectionals . )
: Bar 152-158 ( Check your notes properly , Be sure to play all the articulations and also never forget pulsing . as you guys can see , theres a 'Allargando' meaning getting slower and be more majestic , so play majestic , don just blast out all the notes blindly , remember ! ' We are playing music , not notes ! '
Basically these is what i want to emphasize on pasadena , but these does'nt mean that other parts are perfect or anything . also practice on the whole score . soo my expectation is you guys to play pasadena perfectly . i do not want to hear the same mistake stated above when Band resumes (:

-Nottingham Sketches-
: Bar 5-8 ( as what mr wong has mention , don't tongue so hard on the first note of each bar , its suppose to be smooth , and also must remember to accent on whr u are suppose to , take note there is actually a cresendo at bar 8 which there is a printing error on the score .)
: Bar 13-20 ( play wif pulsing , feel urself lyk an metronome , also stacato every note . )
: Bar 30 ( take of the mp cresendo on the 3rd beat , this is a fast cresendo . but do accent the 1st note in bar 31 becos of this , rmb its still a stacato , light ! )
: Bar 59 ( take note tat there is a cresendo of p to mf , whr there is a printing error . so , apply wad i teach u during sectionals , sub-divide the cresendo yourself (: )
: Bar 89-92 ( pulsing and stacato each and every note . mp ~ )
: Bar 93 ( work on your finger and the slurs and accents )
: Bar 94 ( *IMPT* remember to drop to p and then cresendo . )
Try to work on ur tuning urself , play and listen yourself . its time to train youself . as you guys know tat tuning is saxophone's main weakness , so we have to overcome it !

attention to all saxophonist (:

Take note tat there will be compulsory sectional tmr as usual .
members are to report to band store at 2:15pm sharp with your instruments sett-ed up .
( those who are unable to attend must provide me with valid reasons , those who are late must also imform me earlier on . )

Point to note down , every single one of you must have your own individual files .
even though you are sharing scores/file , i still expect you guys to have all the scores in your own file .
this is to backup if one of e members wif the file are absent/late .
So i expect your files to have the following scores .

Nextly , i heard complains from baritone tat tenors are setting their instrument too slow , leading baritone to be the last to set up their instrument and resulting in the leaders to countdown . Due to these , tenors , you have owe yingsa 15 push ups . So from now onwards , tenors and altos are expected to set your instrument within 2minutes . those who i found chatting and sitting there while setting instrument will be punished especially during band practice .

And, this i am very pissed off with this , and this is not the first time i saying this , those who are not coming for band practice or sectionals are to imform me BEFORE HAND , but there is still members who did'nt . I am very strict toward this , those who are late for band / sectional are also expected to imform me. Those who failed to do so will be severely punished reagardless of what , don say what i am unreasonable , but it is your responsiblilty to tell me whether you are able to attend the band practice/section . Do not wait until i look for you until you tell me the reason .

Secondly , i expect you guys to give me your photocopied passport ( where the stamp of date of departure and return ) when you guys went overseas and did'nt attend for band . do not give me letters for this reasons . And if you are sick/unwell , provide me with MCs/letters on the next practice . same goes to consent form , as you know those who fail to hand in the consent in time will lead the whole section on punishment , so , you should know what to do (:
